AVERAGE
|
Storyline |
The film has the stories of the same lead pair set in three different eras - in 1910, 1960 and 2012 and is rumored to take inspiration from a Taiwanese film, with a similar theme.
The movie starts in 1960 Pune-Bombay train where aspiring musician Govind (Shahid Kapoor) meets cinema heroine Ruksar (Priyanka Chopra). They fall in love, but Govind's neighbour is a girl (Prachi Desai) and she also develops feelings for the hero. Since Ruksar and the neighborhood girl are childhood friends, the love train goes off track.
Similarly in the past (1910) and in the future (2012) the same couple accidentally meet each other by the sheer force of destiny, fall in love at first sight, face a ‘minor’ obstacle that separates them temporarily. But the lead pair always overcome the hurdlee it and are united forever and ever. The film is clean, unlike some of the more violent and vulgar movies of late, and is targeted at youngsters and family audiences. More of the same old wine, but in a new bottle. Average movie, that is fit for timepass watching on weekend, if you have nothing better to do.
